Hello, September 🍁| Get Ready for Fall!

Mexican Taco Soup, Applesauce Walnut Bread, Get Ready for Fall

Little House Simple Living

“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker

Hello, September!

Google says that meteorologically Fall begins on September 1st. The Autumnal Equinox says it’s not Fall until September 22nd. Either way, Reader, a new season is upon us!

I’m not sure about where you live but it has been a horribly hot Summer here. Bring on the cooler weather please.

How do you get ready for Fall? Here are 5 Simple Ways to get your home ready.

I created this Slow Cooker Mexican Beef Soup and thought you might like to make it this weekend. You might even have all the ingredients right in your kitchen. It’s similar to a taco soup but I don’t use any of the ranch or taco seasoning packets. It’s so yummy!

If you love apples like I do, then you are going to want to make this Applesauce Walnut Bread. It’s perfect alone as a snack with butter on top or serve along side breakfast or even in the evening for a light simple dessert.

All of my Fall decor is going up this weekend. I’ve been doing my Fall cleaning and just need to get my totes down from the barn.
