Hello November

Little House Simple Living

Do what you can, with what you have. ~ Wendy Walker

Hi Reader,

I’m seeing Christmas decor all over social media and well, I’m not ready just yet to let go of my Fall. I love the month of November. I have so much to be Thankful for and that includes you!

It’s a month that I like to really give back to others and give gratitude to all the many blessings I’ve received throughout the year so far. So, I’ll be waiting a few weeks to start sharing all of my Christmas decor. My goal is to have it all up by November 19th. I put it up early last year and that really helped me to enjoy the Christmas season and not feel like I was in such a hurry to get it all done.

”The month of November makes me feel that life is passing more quickly. In an effort to slow it down, I try to fill the hours more meaningfully.” ~ Henry Rollins

Reader, as always, tag me over on Instagram @lhsimpleliving. I love seeing all things simple living and any recipes of mine you make.

P.S. I truly appreciate all the shares, likes, comments on my posts and over on Instagram. It keeps me going everyday to show up and share any wisdom that I may have.

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and I hope you enjoy this week‘s reading. I really enjoy cooking and baking so, I’m excited to get started on my Thanksgiving Meal Planning. One thing I’m doing now to prep for the big day is freezing Homemade Pumpkin Puree. It’s a great way to use up all those pumpkins on your porch.

I’m also sharing my Thanksgiving Recipes with you. These are some of my favorite recipes that I make for my family and I hope you enjoy them too. Feel free to download it and use it all year long.

Next Coming Week’s

I’ll be sharing a FREE Thanksgiving Meal Planner I’ve created to help you get through the holiday with ease. Let’s start prepping early! Also, I’m going to compile a list of products that I personally use or companies that I believe in and share them with you. A lot of businesses are having really good sales right now and I’d love for us to take advantage of all those savings.

P.S. I’ve been practicing on some “holiday” themed Sourdough scoring. I’ll be sharing those with you here in my newsletter - Fail or Success haha. I thought it would be fun to decorate my bread loafs! Stay tuned……

Little House Simple Living “Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker Hi Reader, Happy Tuesday friend! I couldn’t wait until the end of the week to tell you but…. I just became a new Grandma 🎉! I don’t even feel old enough to be one haha but my son and his wife had the most perfect little girl. They named her Scarlett Rose and I’m already obsessed with her. I spent the last few weeks preparing meals and these wonderful Lactation Cookies for Maddy. In doing so, it prompted me to...

Little House Simple Living “Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker Hi Reader, Happy Thursday friend! I’m glad to be back on track with my weekly postings. Did you get a chance to look at all the recipes I shared during my Super Bowl Party Menu series? That was fun doing and I hope you enjoyed it too. So, it looks like Spring is coming but I also checked the weather and it’s looks like it’s cooling back down over the next few weeks. Maybe it’s a false Spring we’re having 🤷🏼♀️....
