Do what you can, with what you have. ~ Wendy Walker
Hi Reader,
Hey friend,
I have some exciting news to share with you! I know you might be up to eyeballs in cooking and baking but I have to share this with you today.
My new eBook, Sourdough Made Simple, is finally out and I'm launching it to you FIRST before I post it to the public. (I'm releasing it Thanksgiving night to the world.) I've been working on this book for over 1 year (off and on). I can't believe it's here! I've been adding more pages and just finally told myself, "It's time to publish it" haha. So, read all about it below. I'm so proud of this book and put my heart and soul into it. I really want everyone to make Sourdough bread, using fresh milled flour.
All the hustle and bustle of the holiday season will be starting soon. I thought tonight would be a good time to sit in the quiet so you can read all about it.
Why Did I Write This Book
Have you been trying your hand at Sourdough bread and it's not working out? Are you overwhelmed like I was 4 years ago when I first started?
Maybe you already grind your own wheat and you'd like to learn a Simple way to make Sourdough bread with it. Yes, it can be done.
I've been grinding my own flour for 13 years and started baking Sourdough bread since March of 2020. What a journey this has been! I started with bread flour and then I was like, "Wait a minute, I need to be using my fresh milled flour." Nobody is talking about Sourdough using fresh milled flour. I'm here to change that.
I've come up with a very simple recipe that I'm sharing with you in the eBook. It's the same recipe that I use in all the photos you see on my Instagram feed. It's fluffy, nutritious and delicious! I get asked questions all the time about how to do this or how to do that. I genuinely want to help others master this skill. Keep reading.........
Reader, as always, tag me over on Instagram @lhsimpleliving. I love seeing all things simple living and any recipes of mine you make.
P.S. I truly appreciate all the shares, likes, comments on my posts and over on Instagram. It keeps me going everyday to show up and share any wisdom that I may have.
So, go grab a cup of coffee or tea and I hope you enjoy the reading this week. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We'll chat soon!

How Will I Receive the Book
Sourdough Made Simple is a 52 page eBook that is packed with education, pretty photos, tutorials, Resources and so much more. It will arrive in your mailbox as a downloadable .pdf. You can save it to your phone or I-pad. You will also be receiving a high resolution file if you would also like to print the book and keep a copy in your kitchen. I printed mine 2-sided and put it in a nice folder.
The cost is crazy insane. I know I should be charging way more but it's Christmas time. I want everyone to have access to this knowledge. Because you are one of my special people, I'm giving you this wonderful book for just $9.99. This price will be good through November 30, 2024. After that, it will go up to $14.99. I know it's still way under price, but I'm hoping people can afford it and give it as gifts. No coupon code needed.
Add both the Sourdough Made Simple book + a pack of my Dehydrated Sourdough Starter as a really fun and practical gift. When you also order the dehydrated starter, you will receive an instruction guide on how to re-hydrate it. It's part of my "Sourdough Made Simple" series.

Little House Simple Living “Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker Hi Reader, Good morning friend! What a beautiful weekend it’s going to be. We are in South Carolina for a college graduation and an engagement party. As I write this week’s newsletter, I’m sitting on the front porch of our air bnb. The birdies are singing, the sun is coming up and it’s a little chilly. I’m loving this peaceful time before all the fun activities begin. What do you have planned this weekend?...
Little House Simple Living “Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker Hi Reader, Happy Thursday friend! Here we are at the last weekend of the month. Where does the time go, seriously? 🤷🏼♀️ Do you remember all those onions I’ve been talking about over the past few months? Well, I harvested them all a few weeks ago. I ended up having 105 onions. Not to shabby, I don’t think. Onions are one of the easiest to grow. It’s a “set it and forget it” vegetable. Being so versatile, you can...
Little House Simple Living “Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker Hi Reader, Happy Sunday friend! The weather is beautiful here in the south, well, except that it’s raining right now. I hope it’s warming up for you if you are in the north. Whether you still have cold weather or not, you can still start planting seeds indoors. If you have a greenhouse, even better. This is my favorite greenhouse. If you love tomatoes like I do, then make sure you plant a bunch of seeds. Each...
