“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker
Hi Reader,
Hey friend,
Happy May! This week has flown by. The weather has been great here. We are expecting rain tomorrow so I’m excited to stay inside and rest a little and maybe work on a few projects. What have you got planned?
This week’s newsletter is packed with a good DIY you can do alone or grab some friends. Make sure and serve these cookies while you are having fun or box them up for your mama next Sunday.
Speaking of moms, I’ve included a few special places where I love to shop👇🏻and thought I’d pass them along. If you scroll down close to the bottom, I have a bunch of discount codes as well. Some of the places have great sales going on right now.
Barn Quilt In TN, Wild Flowers in the Spring
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are chewy on the edges and soft on the inside. Great for a crowd or box them up and give them to your mom.
I love decorating my home and even more, I love doing it on a budget. This one thing will add so much coziness, charm and a cottage feel to every room.
Don’t forget to sign up for this free summit. This is one of my favorite ones as so many of us are struggling with brain fog, exhaustion, pain and more. We go from doctor to doctor being missed or just told to take an anti-depressant. There’s a reason we don’t feel good. Let’s get to the root cause of it.
Let’s remember mom on May 10th. Maybe she’s your birth mom, adoptive mama, an aunt, friend or just a special lady in your life. We should give thanks to her! Here are some of my favorite places to shop at and I thought I’d share them with you. I have more of my regular links below with discount codes as well. Enjoy!

Grain Mill - save $20 off your purchase. (Use code: LHSIMPLELIVING)
Grains - These two companies are my favorite for buying grains and freshly milled flour. The flour is ground on a Unifine mill, which retains all the nutrition due to the process of using stones. No glyphosate, non-gmo, organic clean wheat. If you are just diving in, this is a great place to start.

Feel free to share my newsletters with your friends and family. If you aren’t seeing my emails regularly, please add “hello@littlehousesimpleliving.com” to your contact list so I don’t end up in the spam folder.
