“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker
Hi Reader,
Happy Weekend!
Hope you’ve had a great week. What kind of plans do you have this weekend? We went to a 3 year old little girl’s birthday party today. It was a Cowgirl theme and so cute. Tomorrow, I get to meet my great nephew. Little Archie was born back in May and I’ve been dying to meet him. I can’t wait to steal some hugs from him. I love squishy babies. I’m also picking up peaches that I ordered last month. Order some and pick up in a town near you before they sell out.
Part of my Summer Series this week is that I’m sharing all about decorating your home and porch for summer. 🇺🇸🌻🇺🇸 It’s packed with simple ideas on how to decorate on any budget. I’m all about traditions and saving my decor for years but it’s nice to also grab a few things every year to bring in some new. Something I couldn’t do without this year are these handmade felt banners. The one above ☝🏻and this one below👇🏻. So fun!
What do you think about when Summer comes around? S’mores, of course. They are not just perfect for the 4th of July but think about when your kids have sleep overs or even camping. They all love to gather around the fire, telling stories and eating a yummy gooey s’more. Well, I’m sharing how to make graham crackers from scratch, as well as, homemade marshmallows. Another one of my Summer desserts that are so easy to make is Grilled Peaches. Yum Yum!

Grains - These two companies are my favorite for buying grains and freshly milled flour. The flour is ground on a Unifine mill, which retains all the nutrition due to the process of using stones. No glyphosate, non-gmo, organic clean wheat. If you are just diving in, this is a great place to start.
