“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker
Hi Reader,
Hey friend,
Whether you are a mom, have a biological mom or maybe a “mom like figure” in your life, I hope you have the best weekend! I have many special ladies in my life that I call mom. I’m also a mom to a lot of kids my own kid’s age that I was over the years while they were growing up. The people we get to call “parents” don’t have to be blood related. It’s those that pour their hearts into others, teaching and guiding them.
Whether you’re juggling little ones, guiding teenagers, cherishing grown children, or being the rock for your entire family, your impact is immeasurable. You make ordinary days brighter and the world a little softer. Mamas bring comfort to our kids that dads (by design) really can’t offer.
Thank you for being you. Thank you for showing up, even on the hard days. Thank you for the laughter, the lessons, and the unconditional love that you offer to every younger individual.
This Mother’s Day, I hope you feel deeply appreciated — not just for what you do, but for who you are. You deserve to be celebrated, pampered, and reminded how extraordinary you truly are.
Wishing you a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with joy, peace, rest, and all the love you so generously give to others. ❤️
If you don’t want to fight the restaurants this weekend, fix a nice brunch on Sunday with the most delicious quiche made with a hash brown crust. The crust is so soft, creamy and has a slight crunch. So good!
It’s Blueberry, Blackberry and Peach season right now here in the South. I have been busy picking and will be sharing some recipes with you. If you are looking for a heartfelt gift to give to your mama, pick her some yummy fruit and package it up pretty. I don’t know anyone who would turn down a juicy peach or a container of blueberries. 😋

This quiche is the perfect dish to serve at a Mother’s Day brunch or just serve it up on a weekend. It’s easy to make and freezes well.
Don’t forget to sign up for this free summit. It’s starts this weekend! This is one of my favorite ones as so many of us are struggling with brain fog, exhaustion, pain and more. We go from doctor to doctor being missed or just told to take an anti-depressant. There’s a reason we don’t feel good. Let’s get to the root cause of it.

Grains - These two companies are my favorite for buying grains and freshly milled flour. The flour is ground on a Unifine mill, which retains all the nutrition due to the process of using stones. No glyphosate, non-gmo, organic clean wheat. If you are just diving in, this is a great place to start.
