Harvest Meatball Stew in Sourdough Bread Bowls

Little House Simple Living

“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker

Hi Reader,

Hello, it’s Wednesday!

I’m a few days early because I have a lot to do to help with my granddaughter’s 1st birthday party on Saturday. I can’t wait to show you all that my daughter-in-law has done. It’s an Alice in Onderland theme and quite adorable. Stay tuned for the pics.

We have a warm front for a few days and then back to cold weather. I thought heart shaped handmade marshmallows in hot cocoa would warm you or your kids right up.

January is a month of comfort to me. Are you with me? It’s a month of rest. I mean, I’m still doing my normal work and chores but I’m not over doing it with other busy things to do. I truly feel we have winter so we can re-charge. Even though I don’t live in a snowy state, it gets chilly here and I really enjoy making one-pot meals. I think you are going to really enjoy this Harvest Meatball Stew served inside these cute sourdough bread bowls.

Fun Fact

Speaking of snowy state. I lied. I forgot it snowed last Sunday up near the panhandle in Florida, actually near Destin. They shut one of our interstates down because we don’t have the equipment to scrape the roads. We do get snow sometimes haha. I remember living in Jacksonville years ago and we had a bad snow storm. I knew how to drive in it as I lived in snow mostly as a child, but these southerners did not lol. Make a snowman for me! I miss doing that.

The Hashimoto’s and Thyroid Summit is going on still until January 22nd. You still have time to watch some of the top medical professionals with great success on healing our thyroid.

Do you struggle with mystery symptoms? It very well could be your thyroid. Maybe you aren’t even aware your thyroid isn't functioning? Most traditional western doctors only test for TSH (Thyroid Stimuating Hormone) and prescribe Synthroid and tell us to be on our way. That is not enough. Meanwhile, we have people (mainly women) walking around cold all the time, flat out tired, losing the outer part of their eyebrows, constipation, diarrhea, joint pain and so much more.

Grab a copy of the FREE ebook below. Yes, with proper nutrition and finding the root cause, your thyroid can heal. Your thyroid just doesn’t stop working. There’s something causing it.

Being diagnosed with hypothyroidism or Hashimotos is not a death sentence or mean you have to be miserable the rest of your life. Free yourself from the fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, weight gain, hair loss, cold intolerance and more.

Sign up for the Hashimoto's and Thyroid Summit!

Sourdough Bread Bowls

These little bread bowls are so stinkin’ cute. Your kids will even love them as they can pull the bread apart while eating their soup/stew. Mac n’ cheese would be good in them too.

How to Make Heart Shaped Marshmallows.

Using the recipe below, once the marshmallows are all set, use a heart shaped cookie cutter and cut out different shapes and sizes of hearts. Having a cup of cocoa on a cold winter day in February will surely warm your loved ones. So fun!

Ditch the corn syrup and artificial dyes and make your own. You’d be surprised how easy it is.
