“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker
Hi Reader,
Hello Weekend! The countdown to Christmas is on! We have 14 days until Christmas Day is here! Are you ready?
I’ve been busy baking and actually freezing things like my peanut butter fudge from last week and these yummy Christmas Cutout Cookies. I’m trying to make sure I don’t feel so rushed between now and the New Years. It’s nice to just slow down and just be in the moment.
My tree is finally up and I can’t wait to share more with you about our new tv cabinet we had made. I’ll be doing a dedicated blog post in the new year but check out my Instagram for now for a sneak peek.
With all the baking we are doing, am I the only one who isn’t wanting to cook much right now haha? Sometimes, I would rather just have cookies for supper lol. I’m so glad I have this Tuscan Farmhouse Soup in the freezer along with other things I prepared last month.
If you are still in need of a gift for someone, grab my Gift Giving Guide. It’s packed with sales and something for everyone on your list.
I have a fun craft for you and your kids to make. It’s a DIY Christmas/Winter Garland that you can leave up through winter. It’s a great activity for the kids to do on Christmas break from school or use it as a homeschool project.

Christmas Cutout Cookies
Did you catch my Christmas music plays list I shared last week. If you missed it, here it is. I’ve been listening on repeat. So fun!
Christmas Cutout Cookies
These Christmas Sugar Cookies have a secret ingredient that makes them soft on the inside and a slight crunch on the outside. You’re going to want to make these a family tradition!
This garland is so fun to make and it’s great for all ages, including adults. Use what you have on hand and create some fun decor for your shelves, doorways, cabinets, etc.

Grains - These two companies are my favorite for buying grains and freshly milled flour. The flour is ground on a Unifine mill, which retains all the nutrition due to the process of using stones. No glyphosate, non-gmo, organic clean wheat. If you are just diving in, this is a great place to start.
