“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker
Hi Reader,
It’s Friday friend!
Hello? It’s already February too. How has your week been?
Last month I shared all about keeping your freezer organized. Today I’m talking about our pantry. I may or may not 🤷🏼♀️ have organize ocd when it comes to certain things haha. The pantry is one of them. Mine has to be organized or I’d never know what I had or when things would expire 🤦🏼♀️.
Do you ever have impromptu guests come over and you have no idea what to make? Yeah, me too. I love it but I used to rack my brain or become frazzled not knowing what to make in such short notice.
I have a list of pantry goods that I keep in my pantry at all times. Like, they are always there. I can usually whip something up quickly because of this obsessive compulsive disorder lol. I call mine The Homestead Pantry. I hope this helps you stay organized and are able to create “quick thinking” meals if the time comes.
Don’t forget to download your FREE pantry goods list. It’s in the post.

I love an organized pantry. It’s fun to see your dry goods in little clear jars. I also like taking inventory like I have a general store haha.
How cute are these Peanut Butter Chocolate Filled Hearts? I don’t have a dedicated recipe on the blog yet, but you can use this one here. I used this mold to make them. So easy and beats a Reese’s one any day!
I actually just realized Valentine’s Day is like 9 days away so you have time to make these for your hubby or kiddos. 💗
We have a birthday party to go to for my 2 year old little great nephew on Saturday. He’s so stinkin’ cute and is into cars. I bought him this Cars movie swim suit, a beach towel, waterproof little race cars and this cute race track splash pad. I’m hoping this will all bring us some warmer weather haha. I like buying themed items and I can’t wait for Cayden to open his gift and celebrate his special day with him.

Grains - These two companies are my favorite for buying grains and freshly milled flour. The flour is ground on a Unifine mill, which retains all the nutrition due to the process of using stones. No glyphosate, non-gmo, organic clean wheat. If you are just diving in, this is a great place to start.
