Hey homemaker, are you overwhelmed?

Simple Homemaker’s Beginner Guide From a Seasoned Wife

Little House Simple Living

“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker

Hi Reader,

This week has gotten ahead of me so I’m a little late in getting this week’s newsletter out to you. How has your week been? Here we go again. February is almost over lol. But, hey, Spring is coming!

Do you ever feel overwhelmed as the homemaker of your home and family? Maybe you are a new wife or mom? When I was raising my 2 kids, I was the constant “YES” mom. Yes, I said yes to everything - church, 4H, community events - you name it, I signed up for it. It wore me out.

I always craved a simpler life and so I stepped back from all of that. I realized I don’t have to do it all. There’s other people that can do things. I started putting my focus more on my family instead of everyone else. It made me a better wife, mom and friend. It’s ok to say NO. Now, I commit to things that I know won’t impact my nervous system and it feels so good.

With 30+ years of being married, I have had some major fails but I’ve also had some big wins over the years. I’ve gained a lot of wisdom over the years and I’m excited to share this Simple Homemaker: A Beginner’s Guide from a Seasoned Wife. I’ve spent some time creating this guide and I hope it blesses you in your role as a homemaker. We are important. Whether you are a SAHM or work full-time, we have a job to do within our home.

I’m excited that Spring is coming. I took down all of my winter greenery and wreaths and put up all of my Spring decor. It’s such a fresh bright feeling.

I love this cute little lamp. It’s re-chargeable too.

I’m loving this in my kitchen right now and these oven mitts are perfect for Spring.

Did I mention there are so many freebies in the Homemaker’s Guide? It’s packed with so much education and I hope it encourages you!
