Hi Reader,

Happy Friday Friend!

First of all, no, I didn’t have a baby nor am I pregnant at my age haha. I’m a new grandma (kinda hard to even think that I am) and sweet Scarlett is 7 months now.

My son and daughter-in-law just moved into a new home and they have spent the past few months getting little one’s room ready. I’m excited to share it with you in hopes that it might inspire you to decorate your own baby’s room. Maybe you are a grandma like me and would like to have a sweet vintage nursery in your own home. It’s perfect for when the grand babies come to visit.

Things for Baby

Vintage Baby Girl’s Nursery

I’m so excited to share with you this adorable little nursery that my son and daughter-in-law created. Maddy had the vision and they both made it come to life.

Toxin Free Laundry Detergent and Dishwasher Soap

Wash your baby’s clothes in clean, chemical free detergent, as well as, clean their baby bottles in a plant-based safe soap.

It’s Almost Fall!

I’m so excited for Fall season. The pumpkins, cooler weather, coziness in the home, hiking, camping and the leaves. I have a few Fall trips planned and I can’t wait to take you along.

I’ve been busy working on some new soups for the season. If you have any ideas, just hit me up”reply” and let me know what you are craving this year! I love experimenting and creating new recipes.

I’m going to spend the weekend getting all my totes out and start decorating. I can’t wait to see what I come up with. Sometimes, I put it all out, sometimes I just put out what speaks to me. Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing it soon.

Why Do We Celebrate Labor Day?

Labor Day, an annual celebration of workers and their achievements, originated during one of American labor history’s most dismal chapters.
In the late 1800s, at the height of the Industrial Revolution in the United States, the average American worked 12-hour days and seven-day weeks in order to eke out a basic living. Despite restrictions in some states, children as young as 5 or 6 toiled in mills, factories and mines across the country, earning a fraction of their adult counterparts’ wages. If you have the day off from work, I hope you have a relaxing day!

Garden Update

I finally planted the pumpkin starts. So far so good and we have been getting rain every afternoon (thank goodness). The tomato starts are still in their little seed trays. They just aren’t sturdy enough to put them in the beds yet. I did plant corn and something else that I have forgot about haha. I love it when that happens. It’s so fun seeing what it was once it starts growing. What are you planting this Fall?
