Stone-Milled Bread Flour

Little House Simple Living

Do what you can, with what you have. ~ Wendy Walker

Hi Reader,

How is October almost over? In just a few more weeks, my favorite season will be drawing to an end. Is it hard for you to let one season go and move on to the next one?

Although Fall is my favorite time of year, I do enjoy the change in the weather every few months along with the challenges that each season allow me to take. I get to try new things and reflect on the past season on what changes I can learn from for the next year.

I’m still healing from the black mold toxicity so I’ve spent the entire month just taking it easy. My garden is barely functioning and I’ve never had this many weeds. I did do some canning of applesauce last week. Not near the amount of what I normally can, but it’s ok. It’s not my season to do all the things. I’m focusing on healing my body so I can feel better sooner.

I am excited to tell you that within this health journey I’m on, I have managed to take a program and received my certification as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I’ve been a Health Coach since 2015 but thought I really needed to study all about nutrition and hopefully help others. By the grace of God, my black mold toxicity symptoms haven’t been as bad as I’ve seen others and I contribute my healthy real food diet that I continuously stay on. I’ll be sharing more about my journey in several different blog posts. I’m starting to get my energy back and feel like sharing about this journey.

Reader, as always, tag me over on Instagram @lhsimpleliving. I love seeing all things simple living and any recipes of mine you make.

P.S. I truly appreciate all the shares, likes, comments on my posts and over on Instagram. It keeps me going everyday to show up and share any wisdom that I may have.

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and I hope you enjoy this weeks reading. I get asked all the time over on Instagram about where I buy my bread flour that I use along with my freshly-milled flour. I’m sharing all the details with you this week about Stone-Milled Bread Flour and why you should be using it. Wishing you a peaceful and simple Monday!

Wendy

I just became a new Grandma 🎉! I don’t even feel old enough to be one haha but my son and his wife had the most perfect little girl. They named her Scarlett Rose and I’m already obsessed with her. I spent the last few weeks preparing meals and these wonderful Lactation Cookies for Maddy. In doing so, it prompted me to...

Little House Simple Living “Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker Hi Reader, Happy Thursday friend! I’m glad to be back on track with my weekly postings. Did you get a chance to look at all the recipes I shared during my Super Bowl Party Menu series? That was fun doing and I hope you enjoyed it too. So, it looks like Spring is coming but I also checked the weather and it’s looks like it’s cooling back down over the next few weeks. Maybe it’s a false Spring we’re having 🤷🏼♀️....
