Hi Reader, How is October almost over? In just a few more weeks, my favorite season will be drawing to an end. Is it hard for you to let one season go and move on to the next one? Although Fall is my favorite time of year, I do enjoy the change in the weather every few months along with the challenges that each season allow me to take. I get to try new things and reflect on the past season on what changes I can learn from for the next year. I’m still healing from the black mold toxicity so I’ve spent the entire month just taking it easy. My garden is barely functioning and I’ve never had this many weeds. I did do some canning of applesauce last week. Not near the amount of what I normally can, but it’s ok. It’s not my season to do all the things. I’m focusing on healing my body so I can feel better sooner. I am excited to tell you that within this health journey I’m on, I have managed to take a program and received my certification as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I’ve been a Health Coach since 2015 but thought I really needed to study all about nutrition and hopefully help others. By the grace of God, my black mold toxicity symptoms haven’t been as bad as I’ve seen others and I contribute my healthy real food diet that I continuously stay on. I’ll be sharing more about my journey in several different blog posts. I’m starting to get my energy back and feel like sharing about this journey. P.S. I truly appreciate all the shares, likes, comments on my posts and over on Instagram. It keeps me going everyday to show up and share any wisdom that I may have. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and I hope you enjoy this weeks reading. I get asked all the time over on Instagram about where I buy my bread flour that I use along with my freshly-milled flour. I’m sharing all the details with you this week about Stone-Milled Bread Flour and why you should be using it. Wishing you a peaceful and simple Monday! Wendy Follow Me

Hi, I’m Wendy. I cook from scratch, creating simple nutritious meals. I’ve been grinding my own flour for 14 years and am passionate about telling others about it. Whether it be bagels or sourdough bread, you can do it too. I love sharing my wisdom and encouraging others that they can homestead no matter where you live. It’s a mindset, so just start somewhere friend! As a result, I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner so I can help others learn about the health benefits of eating real food. I also share my garden, chickens, and our new “old” farmhouse. Join my simple living community and sign up for my free newsletter!
