“Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker

Hi Reader,

Happy Thursday friend!

I’m glad to be back on track with my weekly postings. Did you get a chance to look at all the recipes I shared during my Super Bowl Party Menu series? That was fun doing and I hope you enjoyed it too.

So, it looks like Spring is coming but I also checked the weather and it’s looks like it’s cooling back down over the next few weeks. Maybe it’s a false Spring we’re having 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Anyways, it’s time to start thinking about our Spring Gardens. I’m sharing all about Planning a Spring Garden, no matter where you live.

I decided last year I wanted to plant some Tulips. I ordered them in October, planted them in December and they are already popped up. See how I grew them, even here in the South.

If you need a last minute treat for your sweetheart tomorrow, make my Simple Brownies Made With Fresh Milled Flour. You can use any flour if you like. I made them into cute heart shapes.

Let’s not forget about our sweet pups! Our dogs love Heart Shaped Dog Treats.

Little House Simple Living “Do what you can, with what you have.” ~ Wendy Walker Hi Reader, Happy Tuesday friend! I couldn’t wait until the end of the week to tell you but…. I just became a new Grandma 🎉! I don’t even feel old enough to be one haha but my son and his wife had the most perfect little girl. They named her Scarlett Rose and I’m already obsessed with her. I spent the last few weeks preparing meals and these wonderful Lactation Cookies for Maddy. In doing so, it prompted me to...

Little House Simple Living Hi Reader, Happy Sunday Friend! Today’s a week from Super Bowl 🏈 Sunday! Do you watch the game? I have a confession to make. I don’t really watch the game haha. I’m more of a “watch football at the field” kinda person 😂. Now, we will turn the game on. Our biggest thing is watching the commercials and the halftime show. Hopefully, it’s some good singers this year. Nevertheless, I will be making a bunch of football party food. Whether you are having a quiet watching...
