Hi Reader,

Happy Weekend Friend!

I just realized we have a little less than two weeks before Thanksgiving. Eek! Where does the time go? Last week I shared with you my delicious Flaky Pie Dough. It’s the perfect crust to make this Harvest Chicken Pie. You can also use that same crust for a Leftover Turkey Pot Pie. It’s a good time to start planning meals during the holiday season just in case you are knee deep into decorating for Christmas or baking and forget all about dinner.

What will be so pretty, simple and practical is this Fresh Orange Holiday Topiary. This is a great DIY to get your kid or grandkids to help with while watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade. When guests arrive, just tell them to grab one of these cutie oranges for the ride home.

If you need or are looking for a 🎄Christmas tree, I can’t recommend King of Christmas enough. I am a real tree girl and I love their trees. Takes 5 minutes to put them up/take down. Free Shipping, up to 55% off right now. Such a great deal and you’ll keep this tree for years to come. 🎄

You might also like making these Dried Orange Slices. I like setting them in vintage bowls with cloves and star anise as well as attaching them to wreaths.

Harvest Chicken Pie

This pie is so comforting with the warm Fall veggies and flaky crust. Your family will love it!

Leftover Turkey Pot Pie

Save some of your Thanksgiving Turkey and make this yummy pie. I’t similar to my Harvest Chicken Pie above but you’re using turkey and different veggies.

Make this adorable (and edible) topiary for both your Thanksgiving and Christmas tables. It adds simplicity and a cottage core feel to your decor. Your guests will have fun grabbing an orange to take for the ride home.
